We Audited 88 Prop Firm Listings on Rithmic's Directory. 68 Survived
We audited 88 prop-firm listings from Rithmic's public directory. 20 turned out to be dead or no longer operating as prop firms. 68 remain in the census.

Between July 23 and August 6, 2026, we audited all 88 prop-firm listings we track from Rithmic’s public ecosystem directory. The result: 20 of the 88, nearly one in four, pointed at firms that are defunct, unreachable, or no longer operating as prop firms. (Our tracking list sets aside historical listings for firms that had already left the Rithmic-to-NinjaTrader ecosystem — Topstep, MES Capital, TheFuturesDesk — plus one duplicate.) The 68 that survived the audit now form the baseline of our Rithmic Prop Firm Connectivity Census, a quarterly dataset tracking which firms have a native NinjaTrader path, which need an add-on, and how fast the list churns.
What we found
We maintain a NinjaTrader connection guide for every active firm in Rithmic’s ecosystem, so we worked through the directory line by line. Two weeks of checking later:
- FastTrack Trading was still listed, despite having ceased operations in November 2024 (community record) — a dead listing nearly two years old.
- 18 entries had no active website at all: AIMTrader, BestFundingTraders, Builtix, FortezzaTrading, FortressCapital Markets, FundedFuturez, IbexPeakFuturesTrading, IncubatorTrading, Mara Futures Fund, StartUpTrader, ThriveTrading, TradingBattlefield, TradingCompetitions, TradingFactoryPro, TradingRevolution, Tradurz, VJCapital, and WeYouCapital.
- DDG is a special case, not a closure: it remains active as an introducing broker in Rithmic’s broker ecosystem — we maintain a DDG live-broker connection guide — but it has no prop-firm web presence, so its prop-firm listing left the census.
- Two listings continue under new brands: AlphaPropTrading now operates as Alpha Futures, and DeluxeProductions as Deluxe Trader Funding.
That leaves 68 verified, active firms — the census population.
What it means for NinjaTrader and Rithmic traders
A directory listing is not a sign of life. If you’re choosing a firm, the churn rate above is the strongest argument for checking two things before paying for an evaluation:
- Is the firm actually operating? A working website, active support, and recent payout or announcement activity — not just a listing on a data-feed directory.
- How does its account actually connect to your platform? Native NinjaTrader access for Rithmic accounts is the exception, not the rule: as of this audit, only 7 of the 68 firms have a documented native NinjaTrader option for a single Rithmic login, 3 publish no native NinjaTrader option at all, and for most of the rest native availability is undocumented. The census has the firm-by-firm breakdown, and each firm’s connection guide documents the exact route, including the add-on path PropFirmConnector provides.
Update, August 18, 2026: 68 is now 65
The figures above are the result of the July 23 – August 6 audit and are left exactly as recorded. Since then, three more firms have left the census population:
- Discount Trading — Rithmic moved the listing from its funding-evaluator directory to its broker directory. We already track the company as a live-broker connection guide, so keeping the prop-firm entry counted one company twice.
- Tradentry — Rithmic retired the listing; it is no longer present in the directory’s data.
- FundedNext Futures — the firm appears in Rithmic’s directory only in the section Rithmic’s own site marks as unverified, and FundedNext’s current documentation describes no Rithmic route. We also found no archived FundedNext page that described one. The credentials it issues are Tradovate credentials, and its NinjaTrader access runs on that track, so the firm was outside the census definition rather than newly departed.
One of the three is directory churn of the kind this audit was built to measure; the other two are corrections to our own count. The census always reflects the current population — this post is the August 6, 2026 snapshot.
The numbers, citable
The census page carries the full dataset — connection status per firm, Rithmic System values, verification dates — plus a downloadable CSV. It updates whenever the catalog is re-verified, and we snapshot it quarterly. If you write about prop firms, cite it freely with attribution; the full list of Rithmic firms and their NinjaTrader routes is the companion reference.
Disclosure: PropFirmConnector sells a NinjaTrader 8 add-on that connects Rithmic prop-firm and live brokerage accounts. This article is editorial content by its founder; firms covered here have no say in it.
