Your Alpha Funded Rithmic account

This guide covers Alpha Funded at alphafunded.com and its futures accounts issued with Rithmic credentials. Alpha Funded’s TradeSea onboarding identifies the Account ID as the Rithmic username, and its dashboard provides the account login details. Alpha Funded is separate from Alpha Futures at alpha-futures.com.

PropFirmConnector enables those Alpha Funded Rithmic logins inside NinjaTrader 8. Use Rithmic Paper Trading (Chicago) for System, activate the add-on on your device, and follow the five steps below. You can also keep multiple separate Rithmic logins connected in one NinjaTrader instance.

Open your Alpha Funded dashboard and use the key symbol beside the futures account to reveal its login details and server. Alpha Funded instructs traders to use the Account ID as the Rithmic username. Copy the Rithmic password exactly: both fields are case-sensitive.   1. Step 1 One-time activation

    Get your Alpha Funded Rithmic credentials and activate the account

    In your Alpha Funded dashboard, open the futures account’s login details using its key symbol. Use the Account ID as the Rithmic username and the account’s Rithmic password. Sign in to R|Trader Pro with System set to Rithmic Paper Trading and the Chicago gateway, accept any pending market-data agreements, and confirm the expected account appears. This is a one-time activation check; R|Trader Pro does not need to stay open for this direct NinjaTrader connection.

    Install PropFirmConnector

    From your PropFirmConnector account, download PropFirmConnector.zip and close NinjaTrader completely. Extract the ZIP, then copy NinjaTrader.Custom-pfc.dll to My Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom. Start NinjaTrader again and, when your browser opens, click Activate this device.

    Open NinjaTrader 8 and sign in

    Start NinjaTrader 8 and sign in with your NinjaTrader account credentials when prompted. These are your NinjaTrader credentials, not the Rithmic username and password issued by Alpha Funded.

    Configure Rithmic for Alpha Funded

    In the NinjaTrader Control Center, select Connections, then configure. Select Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage from the Available list. Name the connection Alpha Funded, enter your Account ID as the Rithmic username and the account’s Rithmic password, leave Connect on start up and Plug-in mode off, and select Rithmic Paper Trading (Chicago) for System. Click OK to save.

    In the Control Center, click Connections, then configure.

    Connect to Alpha Funded

    Open Connections again and click the connection name you just created. A green status indicator and the account appearing in NinjaTrader confirm the connection.

If your Alpha Funded connection is not working

My Alpha Funded website login works, but the Rithmic connection rejects it.
Use the futures account’s Account ID and Rithmic password from the dashboard key symbol. Both are case-sensitive. Test those same credentials in R|Trader Pro on Rithmic Paper Trading; website or TradeSea sign-in credentials do not replace the Rithmic account credentials.
I cannot find Alpha Funded in the System dropdown.
Select Rithmic Paper Trading (Chicago). Alpha Funded does not require an Alpha Funded-named System entry for this setup. Alpha Futures is a separate firm and its platform instructions do not apply here.
The connection has no accounts or market data.
Confirm the futures account is active and appears in R|Trader Pro, complete any pending agreements, and recheck the issued credentials and server. If the account is also missing in R|Trader Pro, ask Alpha Funded to check its provisioning. If it appears there but not in NinjaTrader, verify PropFirmConnector device activation and retry the saved connection.

Alpha Funded calls the evaluation and simulated funded environment Simulation in its TradeSea instructions. For this NinjaTrader connection, select Rithmic Paper Trading (Chicago). The Paper Trading label is the Rithmic environment; select your issued Alpha Funded account in NinjaTrader before trading.
