Your Tradever Rithmic account and login

Tradever at tradever.com offers a Rithmic / ATAS account option alongside DXFutures and Volumetrica. This guide covers the Tradever account issued with Rithmic trading credentials.

PropFirmConnector connects any Rithmic account to NinjaTrader 8. For Tradever’s Rithmic option, use Rithmic Paper Trading (Chicago), activate the add-on on your device, and follow the five steps below. You can also keep multiple separate Rithmic logins connected in one NinjaTrader instance.

Where to find your Tradever Rithmic login

Use the Rithmic username and password issued for your Tradever trading account. Check your account details in the Tradever dashboard or your account email; if the Rithmic credentials are missing, ask Tradever to provide them. Your Tradever website login and your NinjaTrader login are separate from these trading credentials. Copy the Rithmic credentials exactly, including capitalization.

How to connect Tradever to NinjaTrader 8 in 5 steps

  1. Get your Tradever Rithmic credentials and activate the account

    Get the Rithmic username and password issued for your Tradever Rithmic account. Sign in to R|Trader Pro with System set to Rithmic Paper Trading and the Chicago gateway, accept any pending market-data agreements, and confirm the expected account appears. This is a one-time activation check; R|Trader Pro does not need to stay open for the direct PropFirmConnector connection.

  2. Install PropFirmConnector

    From your PropFirmConnector account, download PropFirmConnector.zip and close NinjaTrader completely. Extract the ZIP, then copy NinjaTrader.Custom-pfc.dll to My Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom. Start NinjaTrader again and, when your browser opens, click Activate this device.

  3. Open NinjaTrader 8 and sign in

    Start NinjaTrader 8 and sign in with your NinjaTrader account credentials when prompted. These are your NinjaTrader credentials, not the Rithmic username and password issued by Tradever.

  4. Configure Rithmic for Tradever

    In the NinjaTrader Control Center, select Connections, then configure. Select Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage from the Available list. Name the connection Tradever, enter the Rithmic username and password issued for your Tradever account, leave Connect on start up and Plug-in mode off, and select Rithmic Paper Trading (Chicago) for System. Click OK to save.

  5. Connect to Tradever

    Open Connections again and click the connection name you just created. A green status indicator and the account appearing in NinjaTrader confirm the connection.

If your Tradever connection is not working

Should Plug-in mode be on or off?
Off. Plug-in mode shares a running R|Trader Pro session with NinjaTrader, which is a different setup from PropFirmConnector’s direct connection. In Connections > Configure, select your Rithmic connection, uncheck Plug-in mode, click OK and connect again. Some firm and Rithmic instructions turn it on for their R|Trader Pro workflow; leave it off for PropFirmConnector.
The connection is green, but the account isn’t in NinjaTrader’s Accounts tab.
Your NinjaTrader login is probably missing the general Rithmic entitlement, so the Accounts tab often shows only Sim101. In NinjaTrader, open Help > About. The Entitlements line should say Evaluation (Rithmic); if it doesn’t, the connection can turn green without showing your accounts. Older NinjaTrader accounts don’t have this entitlement by default, but newly registered accounts do. The fix is in your NinjaTrader account, not in Rithmic or your firm’s dashboard, and you only do it once.

If Evaluation (Rithmic) is missing:

  • Import this license key at account.ninjatrader.com: click your initials, then Settings > Plans > Import license key. Paste the key, click Import, then close and restart NinjaTrader.

  • No Import license key button, or still missing? Trading mainly with prop firms? Your NinjaTrader login doesn’t matter, so the fastest fix is to create a new NinjaTrader account with a different email and sign in with it.
  • Keeping your current login, for example because it has a live account on it? Email platformsupport@ninjatrader.com with your NinjaTrader username and ask them to enable the general Rithmic entitlement.

My Tradever website login works, but the Rithmic connection rejects it.
Use the Rithmic trading username and password issued for the account, rather than your Tradever website or NinjaTrader login. Check capitalization and extra spaces, then test the same credentials in R|Trader Pro on Rithmic Paper Trading with the Chicago gateway. Ask Tradever for the Rithmic credentials if you only have a website or other platform login.
I cannot find Tradever in the System dropdown.
Select Rithmic Paper Trading (Chicago). Tradever is the connection name you enter, so you do not need a Tradever-named System option.
The connection has no accounts or market data.
Confirm the Tradever account is active and appears in R|Trader Pro, and complete any pending agreements. If the account is also missing there, ask Tradever to check its provisioning. If it appears there but not in NinjaTrader, check the Evaluation (Rithmic) entitlement described above, PropFirmConnector device activation, the saved credentials, and the System setting.

Rithmic Paper Trading is the System name for this account connection. After connecting, select the Tradever account issued to you in NinjaTrader before placing orders; Sim101 is NinjaTrader’s separate local simulation account.
