Earn2Trade Rithmic to NinjaTrader 8
Earn2Trade real live Rithmic accounts require PropFirmConnector for NinjaTrader 8 and System Rithmic 01 (Chicago). Evaluation and LiveSim Rithmic accounts use System Earn2Trade. NinjaTrader–Tradovate subscriptions use a separate native route.
PropFirmConnector is an independent third-party add-on and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Earn2Trade, NinjaTrader, or Rithmic.

How to connect Earn2Trade to NinjaTrader 8 in 5 steps

Activate your Earn2Trade Rithmic login
Find the separate Rithmic credentials email. For an evaluation, sign in to R|Trader Pro using System Rithmic Paper Trading and the Chicago gateway. For LiveSim, use the server specified in its onboarding instructions. For a real live Rithmic account, use its live login with System Rithmic 01 and the Chicago gateway. Accept pending market-data agreements and confirm the issued account appears. Close R|Trader Pro after this check; the direct connection below does not need it running.

Install PropFirmConnector
From your PropFirmConnector account, download PropFirmConnector.zip and close NinjaTrader completely. Extract the ZIP, then copy NinjaTrader.Custom-pfc.dll to My Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom. Start NinjaTrader again and, when your browser opens, click Activate this device.

Open NinjaTrader 8 and sign in
Start NinjaTrader 8 and sign in with your NinjaTrader account credentials when prompted. These are your NinjaTrader credentials, not the Rithmic username and password issued by Earn2Trade.

Configure Rithmic for Earn2Trade
In the NinjaTrader Control Center, select Connections, then configure. Select Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage, enter the Rithmic username and password for your account, and give the connection a recognizable name. Select Earn2Trade for the evaluation or simulated-funded route, or Rithmic 01 (Chicago) for a real live Rithmic account. Leave Connect on start up and Plug-in mode off, then click OK. PropFirmConnector must be installed and activated for the live connection.

Connect to Earn2Trade
Open Connections again and click the connection name you just created. A green status indicator and the account appearing in NinjaTrader confirm the connection.

If your Earn2Trade connection is not working
- Should Plug-in mode be on or off?
- Off. Plug-in mode shares a running R|Trader Pro session with NinjaTrader, which is a different setup from PropFirmConnector’s direct connection. In Connections > Configure, select your Rithmic connection, uncheck Plug-in mode, click OK and connect again. Some firm and Rithmic instructions turn it on for their R|Trader Pro workflow; leave it off for PropFirmConnector.
- The connection is green, but the account isn’t in NinjaTrader’s Accounts tab.
- Your NinjaTrader login is probably missing the general Rithmic entitlement, so the Accounts tab often shows only Sim101. In NinjaTrader, open Help > About. The Entitlements line should say Evaluation (Rithmic); if it doesn’t, the connection can turn green without showing your accounts. Older NinjaTrader accounts don’t have this entitlement by default, but newly registered accounts do. The fix is in your NinjaTrader account, not in Rithmic or your firm’s dashboard, and you only do it once.
Correct: Entitlements lists Evaluation (Rithmic). Machine ID and User are hidden. If Evaluation (Rithmic) is missing:
- Import this license key at account.ninjatrader.com: click your initials, then Settings > Plans > Import license key. Paste the key, click Import, then close and restart NinjaTrader.
@APE-XTRA-DERF-UNDI-183T-PR45-LW27-63GE - No Import license key button, or still missing? Trading mainly with prop firms? Your NinjaTrader login doesn’t matter, so the fastest fix is to create a new NinjaTrader account with a different email and sign in with it.
- Keeping your current login, for example because it has a live account on it? Email platformsupport@ninjatrader.com with your NinjaTrader username and ask them to enable the general Rithmic entitlement.

- Import this license key at account.ninjatrader.com: click your initials, then Settings > Plans > Import license key. Paste the key, click Import, then close and restart NinjaTrader.
- My new subscription has NinjaTrader–Tradovate credentials.
- Use its native connection. PropFirmConnector uses a Rithmic trading login; entering a Tradovate login in a Rithmic connection does not change the account provider.
- My new Rithmic login is rejected.
- Verify your signup email, accept the Rithmic agreements and check for spaces in the trading credentials. Off-market provisioning can take longer. If it still fails when markets reopen, ask Earn2Trade to check the login before changing NinjaTrader settings.
- R|Trader Pro and NinjaTrader show different System names.
- For evaluation activation, Earn2Trade documents Rithmic Paper Trading in R|Trader Pro. The NinjaTrader setup above uses the Earn2Trade System supplied by PropFirmConnector. For a LiveSim login, follow the server in its onboarding instructions when activating it in R|Trader Pro.
- I see a practice account, or my evaluation trades are missing.
- Check the selected account ID. Earn2Trade identifies its practice account with sim in the ID; those trades do not count toward the evaluation. Use the issued evaluation account. If it is missing in R|Trader Pro too, ask Earn2Trade to check account provisioning.
- I received a real live Rithmic login after passing.
- Complete live onboarding, then use the issued live credentials with Rithmic 01 (Chicago) in NinjaTrader and PropFirmConnector activated. Passing an evaluation or receiving LiveSim access alone does not identify a real live account.

Q What changed for Earn2Trade NinjaTrader access in June 2026?
Earn2Trade ended its firm-provided legacy NinjaTrader/Rithmic route on June 30, 2026. Its new bundled NinjaTrader access uses the NinjaTrader–Tradovate signup option. The announcement retains an exception for customers with their own NinjaTrader license with Rithmic integration. PropFirmConnector still needs active Rithmic credentials; installing it cannot reactivate an account terminated by the firm.
